As part of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institute of Economics and Management of the "Odessa Polytechnic" and the Main Department of Statistics in the Odesa region, a Round Table was held in an online format. During the event, there was a presentation of the official website of the Main Department of Statistics in the Odesa region, its main statistical products, and the opportunities for obtaining information for scientific research and information support of the educational process.
Speakers of the Round Table from the Main Department of Statistics in the Odesa region were: Dina Polovinkina - Head of the Information and Communication Department; Natalia Kaminovska - Deputy Head of the Information and Communication Department, Head of the Department of Dissemination of Statistical Information, Communication with Users, and the Public; Irina Pugacheva - Deputy Head of the Department of Dissemination of Statistical Information and Communication with Users and the Public.
The Round Table was actively attended by the teaching staff and students of various levels of higher education in all specialties of the institute. The event discussed current issues related to obtaining statistical information, improving the methodology of data collection and processing by statistical bodies, and the availability of statistical data on the work of small and large businesses in the Odesa region during a state of war.
Areas of cooperation were defined, including joint scientific events and presentations, the creation of an environment of free access to information for higher education students and university staff, and support for the organization of internships for teachers and practical training for students at the Main Department of Statistics in the Odesa region.
