On May 30, 2023, over 2,000 representatives from charitable and civil society organizations, donor institutions, government bodies, local authorities, entrepreneurs, and journalists gathered at the Civil Society Forum "Outlines of the Future: Victory, Recovery, and Modernization of Ukraine" to discuss the country's future. The event featured hundreds of thought leaders as speakers, 12 panel discussions, 15 workshop sessions and discussions, 12 donor presentations, and over 1,500 online livestream views.
Odesa Polytechnic National University was represented at the forum by the "Univera" project, developed by students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (Olexiy Kostyuchuk, Yuliy Maievskyi, Illia Bodnar, Danilo Deremenzhi). "Univera" is a Ukrainian startup that originated in Odesa, and its team believes that the university can be a convenient and high-quality service for students, actively working towards that goal. Univera is already being implemented in Ukraine as part of the USAID program "Dream and Act."
The participants of the event included representatives of civil and charitable organizations, volunteer initiatives, humanitarian headquarters, international partners, Ukrainian foundations and donors, central executive bodies, local self-government bodies, businesses, media, and concerned active citizens.
The Civil Society Forum was organized by the Initiative Center for Promoting Activity and Civil Initiatives Development "Ednannia" with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the project "Civil Society Sectoral Support Initiative in Ukraine," implemented by ISAR Ednannia.
