The series of trainings took place with the participation of the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine within the framework of the project Students’ Personalised Learning Model, Based on the Virtual Learning Environment of Intellectual Tutoring “Learning with No Limits” – SMART-PL on the topic “Competency-based personalized learning and formative assessment in the system of higher education quality assurance”.
The training participants, representatives of six Ukrainian partner universities, had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on personalized learning, get acquainted with the latest methods of formative assessment and discuss issues of introducing a competency-based approach in higher education. The trainings included such important topics as the essence and foundations of personalized learning, the impact of legislation on its implementation, requirements for the design of educational disciplines, the correct formulation of learning outcomes and methods for their assessment.
This event is an important step towards improving educational processes in our university and partner institutions. We look forward to continued collaboration and exchange of experience to ensure high-quality higher education in Ukraine.
