December 6, 2018, in the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies of ONPU, together with the ecological-naturalistic division of the Odesa Regional Humanitarian Center for Out-of-School Education and Upbringing, a regional competition among schoolchildren “Youth explores the world” was held.
Over 50 participants of the Competition presented their work in the fields of biology, agriculture, ecology, resource and energy saving.
The jury of the Competition included scientists from the Department of Thermal Power Stations and Energy-Saving Technologies and the Department of Applied Ecology and Fluid Dynamics of the Assoc. Luzhanskaya AV, Assoc. Shramenko, AN, Assoc. Smyk S. Yu, as well as students of the V course, future masters I. Telpis, L. Sachenko, K. Karaush.
The competition was officially opened by the director of the Center for Out-of-School Education and Upbringing Makosiy D.I., the Director of the Institute of Energy and Computer-Integrated Management Systems prof. Mazurenko A.S. With the words of farewell and wishes of success in the Competition, the scientific director of the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies of ONPU, A. Klimchuk, spoke.
During the competition, schoolchildren showed a high level of preparation and an insatiable desire to win, demonstrated new approaches in ecology, offered new sources of energy, innovative ideas in agriculture. Materials reports were presented at the stands and in the form of presentations.
Each section ended with a winners award ceremony.
The participants expressed their gratitude to our University, appreciated the high level of equipment of the laboratories, the heat of the heat pumps, the fresh air of the ventilators, the multimedia equipment of each of the laboratories. We wish schoolchildren further success and invite them to study in our glorious ONPU in the future!
