On March 18, 2019, a round table “Cooperation potential with Chinese educational institutions and state-owned companies in the field of nuclear energy, professional training issues” took place in Kiev, attended by the Head of the Department of Nuclear Power Plants of the Energy Institute and Computer-Integrated Management Systems of Odesa National Polytechnic University professor Kravchenko V.P.

Yanishevsky made a report on the state of nuclear energy in Ukraine. A representative from Tsinghua University presented the education master's program in Nuclear engineering and Management. This university has 47,760 students, more than 3,500 foreign students from 128 countries. The university is in the top 50 universities in the world. A representative of CNNC (China National Nuclear Company) reported on Chinese nuclear power.
Ukrainian institutions of higher education were represented, which provide training of specialists for the nuclear power industry of Ukraine: NTU "KPI" them. I. Sikorsky (Dean of the Institute of Heat and Power Engineering, Professor Pismenny EN), ONPU (Head of the Department of Nuclear Power Plants Professor Kravchenko VP), National University Lviv Polytechnic (Vice Rector Matveyko ON).
It was proposed to joint training of students, obtaining double diplomas and conducting scientific work. Professor V. Kravchenko proposed joint implementation of the project of a low-power nuclear power plant (SMR). This concept is now very popular in the world and can be successfully used in Ukraine and China.
