On April 15, 2019, a delegation of the Romanian University “Stefan Chel Mare”, city of Suceava, visited the Odesa National Polytechnic University. The delegation was represented by the rector, prof. Valentina Popa and Vice-Rector, prof. Stefan Puric.
The meeting from the Odesa National Polytechnic University was attended by the rector, Ph.D., prof. Oborsky G.A., Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations, Ph.D., Assoc. Shobik V.S., Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Nesterenko S.A., Head of the Marketing Center V.V. Lebed.
As a result, a wide range of cooperation was noted, primarily the issues of cooperation within the framework of the European grant programs for cross-border cooperation and joint participation in the Horizon 2020 and Erasmus + projects were discussed. Cooperation in the field of science was also agreed. The rector of our university Oborsky G.A. presented to delegates the presentation of the main developments of scientists of the Odesa National Polytechnic University, prepared by the Center for Technology Transfer of the Odesa National Polytechnic University.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies (CEET) of the Odesa National Polytechnic University, where guests could familiarize themselves with the achievements of our university in the project of creating smart technologies. Head of CEET, Head of the Department of Thermal Power Stations and Energy Saving Technologies Institute of Energy and Computer-Integrated Management Systems of the Odesa National Polytechnic University, Ph.D., prof. Klimchuk A.A. demonstrated the work of climate systems that take into account both external and internal influential factors and are completely autonomous in terms of management (without interfering with the human management process). The existing pilot elements of the smart house, working in the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies, should be a significant contribution to the application of the Odesa National Polytechnic University in the framework of the Horizon 2020 project.
