The results of the Olympiad in the specialty "Information, library and archive work"

Summing up and awarding the winners of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty 029 “Information, library and archiving” in the specialty “Documentation and Information Activities”.

On April 18, 2019, on the basis of the Department of Information Activities and Media Communications of the Faculty of Humanities of the Odesa National Polytechnic University, the winners of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in specialty 029 "Information, Library and Archival Affairs" in the specialty "Documentation and Information Activities" were awarded, which began work on April 17, 2019.

For two busy days with a tight schedule, gifted students have confirmed not only the high level of established theoretical knowledge and practical skills, but also showed the ability to solve professional problems in a systematic and creative way. The methodological basis of the Olympics was: search, processing, summarizing information and creating a convenient navigation system for the training database using the Microsoft Access database. The level of students' knowledge was assessed with the help of tasks, to which questions on academic disciplines of bachelor and master degrees in higher education in the specialty 029 “Information, library and archival business” were included.

Among 46 participants of the Olympiad with 17 institutions of higher education, a student of educational qualification level “bachelor” in the Department of Information Activities and Media Communications of Odesa National Polytechnic University Marimorich Yu.V. (group ID-151).

Also, by the decision of the jury of the Olympiad, students of the Department of Information Activities and Media Communications were awarded certificates for participation in the following categories:

"Information and analytical activities" - Y. Blinskaya (group ID-151)

"Documentation and information support of the industry" - I. Shipishchina (group MID-141)

"Management of information projects" - Sarahman Yu.Yu. (group MID-141)
