Document students of the Odesa National Polytechnic University attended the event at the Odesa National Scientific Library, which was dedicated to the memory of Alexandra Tyuneeva.
April 18, 2019, students of 3-4 courses of the specialty "Information, library and archival business" of the Department of Information Activities and Media Communications of the Humanities Faculty of the Odesa National Polytechnic University attended the event for the 190th anniversary of the Odesa National Scientific Library. The meeting was dedicated to the memory of one of the library directors Alexandra Tyuneeva.
Alexandra Nikolaevna Tyuneeva (1888-1984) - bibliographer, bibliographer, bibliophile, specialist of rare books, came to the library in 1920, since 1921 - head of the department of rare and artistic publications. Employees of the Odesa National Scientific Library prepared and published a collection of materials “Alexander Nikolaevna Tyuneev” (Odessa, 2012).
The event was held with the participation of public and cultural figures, librarians, students of institutions of higher education in Odesa. The chair was handed over to the library, which belonged to Aleksandr Tyuneeva, renovated with the support of Armen Pushkinovich Petoyan, local historian, chairman of the public organizations “Odessa Center of Armenian Studies” and “Odessa Cultural Heritage Fund”, member of the commission on the protection of cultural heritage sites of the Odesa city council.
