On May 22, 2019, the General Director of the Engineering Bureau, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the University of Würzburg, Jürgen Kobirleen, held a scientific seminar at the Department of Thermal Power Plants and Energy Saving Technologies of the Odesa National Polytechnic University.
The seminar was devoted to modern technologies of waste burning of the agro-industrial complex and environmentally friendly technologies for heating the city’s districts. The seminar was attended by teachers and students of the Institute of Energy and Computer-Integrated Technologies, the Institute of Electromechanics and Energy Management, the Ukrainian-German University, as well as everyone. As a result, a great interest arose among the scientists of our university: a broad discussion took place with the participation of Dr. Sc., Prof. Denisova AE, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Arsiria VA, Ph.D., Assoc. Doroshenko J.F., Ph.D., prof. Fomicheva E.P.
For the guest from Germany, a tour of the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies of the Odesa National Polytechnic University was organized by the head of the Center, Dr. Sc. Klimchuk A.A. and deputy Dean of the Ukrainian-German University, Assoc. Menshikova E.S. Jürgen Kobirlaen praised the achievements of the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies and the scientific potential in the field of climate formation both in residential buildings and in public buildings.
At the end, a working meeting took place on the prospects for cooperation between the Odesa National Polytechnic University and the University of Würsburg, as well as between the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies and the Engineering Bureau of Jürgen Koberleen. The discussion was attended by the Head of the Department of Thermal Power Stations and Energy Saving Technologies, Dr. Sc. G. Balasanyan, Director of the Ukrainian-Polish Institute, Dr. Sc., Prof. Denisova AE, Director of the Institute of Energy and Computer-Integrated Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mazurenko A.S. , Head of the Department of Applied Ecology and Fluid Dynamics, Ph.D., prof. Arsiri V.A., deputy. Dean of the Ukrainian-German University Assoc. Menshikova E.S., as well as the Scientific Director of the Center for Energy Efficient Technologies, Dr. Sc. Klimchuk A.A. A preliminary agreement has been reached on scientific and student cooperation in the field of energy efficiency and ecology.
