At its meeting on September 17, 2025, the Academic Council of the National University “Odesa Polytechnic” decided to confer the title of “Honorary Researcher” upon Sergii Grybniak (PhD) — a scholar who has made a significant contribution to the development of modern blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.
Sergii Grybniak is among the university’s most promising researchers whose scientific achievements have earned international recognition. His dissertation, supervised by Professor Dmytro Dmytryshyn, Doctor of Technical Sciences, focuses on the practical implementation of blockchain-based solutions in the fields of cybersecurity and financial technologies. The researcher’s results are already being applied in several Ukrainian pilot projects dedicated to digital data verification.
Sergii Grybniak’s research was distinguished with a prestigious international award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), supported by the Technical Committee on Blockchain and the Centre for Computational Technologies for Finance at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). This achievement not only highlights the scholar’s high professional competence but also demonstrates the growing role of Odesa Polytechnic in the global scientific community.
