On September 10, a photo exhibition “Ukrainian Jewish Family Album” was opened in the main academic building of the Odesa National Polytechnic University (Shevchenko Ave.), prepared by the Department of Information and Media Communication in cooperation with the Austrian civic organization Centropa, survivors.

Carefully selected pictures and stories of Ukrainian Jews against the backdrop of the events of World War II will help young people to understand more in the context of a terrible ethnic catastrophe.

By the end of September, this mobile exhibition is located in Odesa, where it arrived from Kiev, and then goes to Nikolaev. It has already been shown in Lviv and Krakow.

The Centropa Exhibition Program was developed in 2005 on the basis of interviews and photographs collected in 15 European countries. Since 2017, Centropa exhibitions have been running through community centers, libraries, universities and schools in countries such as Poland, Ukraine, Bosnia, the United States and Lithuania.

You can get acquainted with the materials daily from 8.00 to 16.00 in the main educational building of the Odesa National Polytechnic University.
