The organizers of the event were: Odesa National Polytechnic University, "Research Center "Telecommunications without Borders" and the company "Comfort Service".
The purpose of the event was to discuss the areas of cooperation between Associations of co-owners of apartment buildings with operators and service providers in the field of electronic communications, the possibility of scientific and practical support of economic and technical issues of housing development in Odesa.
The event was attended by the chairmen of the board of the Association of Co-Owners of Apartment Buildings, representatives of telecommunication network construction and maintenance companies, representatives of local authorities and utilities, and public organizations in Odesa.
Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the pilot project "Internet Access without Borders" was held, which is aimed at solving the problem of placing telecommunication networks in apartment buildings, building models of interaction between operators and co-owners of high-rise buildings on the use of common property in accordance with the requirements of domestic law.
The event also discussed the following issues:
- Implementation of joint projects of Odesa National Polytechnic University and Associations of co-owners of apartment buildings in matters of business planning, auditing and implementation of energy-efficient technologies, presentation of the educational base and economic specialties of the university.
- Best international practices and European experience in organizing public access to the Internet and electronic communications services.
- The problems of interaction between operators and Associations of co-owners of multi-apartment buildings while providing Internet access, modern technical and economic solutions for the construction and operation of telecommunications infrastructure in multi-apartment buildings in Odesa.
