In April, the Odesa Polytechnic State University team took part in five online seminars on the International Students Adaptation and Integration project https://op.edu.ua/international/projects/interadis #INTERADIS within the European Union program framework https://op.edu.ua/international/programs/co-funded_by_the_erasmus #Erasmus+ supported by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine https://erasmusplus.org.ua #ErasmusUA. Our team members were: Vice-Rector Shobik V.S., Director of the Foreign Students Training Institute Saveliev A.O., Deputy Director of the Foreign Students Training Institute Kunitsyn M.V. and project coordinator Lebed M.V.
The meetings were conducted by project partners: Consulting Company HULTGREN (Germany), Mikolas Romeris University (Lithuania), East Bavarian Technical University of Amberg-Weiden (Germany), Dutch Business Academy (Netherlands), University of Foggia (Italy).
Practical issues of internationalization prospects and strategies development as well as the internationalization consequences have been considered at the meetings; other priority aspects discussed were: foreign students adaptation and integration at host university, their admission and integration practice; new realities and opportunities in the context of Covid-19 pandemic; practice of teaching foreign students with special needs.
