Climate University for Virtual Exchanges

Project Objective

To unite university students from the EU and Eastern Neighborhood countries to acquire climate competencies: adaptation to climate change, mitigation of its consequences, and the formation of an ecological agenda.

Goals

• Uniting students into virtual academic communities.
• Developing an innovative concept of virtual exchange for climate education.
• Training facilitators and moderators for virtual exchanges.
• Preparing climate "ambassadors" to raise awareness in society.
• Promoting virtual exchanges as a tool for collaboration.

Activities

Implementing interactive online courses where students, teachers, and assistants collaborate in small groups to analyze pressing climate change issues.

Expected Outcomes

• Formation of a new generation of climate experts.
• Development of online courses in climate education.
• Creation of an international network for sustainable development.
