WHO WE ARE PREPARING
Institute provides preparation of bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy jointly with the universities of Spain and Portugal according to all specialities at the university.
At the same time with the preparation according to speciality the education of the professionally oriented Spanish or Portuguese (according to the student's choice) is provided.
WHY IS THIS ACTUAL
- Spanish ranks third in the world among 6 official United Nations languages after English and Chinese, more than 500 million people speak Spanish; it is an official language in 20 countries. In many countries, there are also numerous Spanish communities, for example in the United States the Spanish-speaking citizens make up the majority of the population.
- Portuguese – one of the most widespread languages (6…8 place in the world), is the official language in 9 countries of the world, is the second Romanic language after the Spanish of the number of native speakers, more than 230 million people speak Portuguese.
- Higher education of the European level, as well as proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese, confirmed by diplomas of Ukraine and countries of the European Union, provides our graduates indisputable advantages for the appropriate job placement both at home and in any other country in the world.
- As a result, of the successful training of our graduates; they are able to obtain diplomas of Ukraine as an official sample, the second diploma of Spain or Portugal, as well as the international diploma of DIE, confirming the level of Spanish.
WHO TEACHES
The professors of graduating departments of university jointly with the professors of partner universities abroad provide training of students according to their specialities.
Our partners in Spain – Polytechnic Universities of Valencia and Catalan, Universities of Basque country, Cadiz, Córdoba, Seville; in Portugal – University of Minho, Braga; in Colombia – University ECCI, Bogotá.
The qualified philologists, doctors, professors of the Department of Spanish language and translation provide teaching of the professionally oriented Spanish and Portuguese languages.
HOW WE TEACH
Teaching of speciality corresponds to the European quality standards
We teach students agreed with the foreign partners, educational programmes, corresponding to European quality standards in higher education.
Continuing language preparation
We provide continuing education of the Spanish and Portuguese professionally oriented languages (6 hours auditorium classes per week in small groups since the 1st semester up to the 10th) in parallel with the bachelors and masters preparation according to the speciality.
Level of language preparation
Our programs at achieving the proficiency in the Spanish and Portuguese languages from "scratch” to "Upper-Intermediate" – B2 aimed. Learning professional terminology and vocabulary held from the 4-th semesters, provides also periods of study the speciality abroad.
Summer school "Spanish for professionals"
We complete each academic year with the summer school "Spanish for professionals" in the territory of students’ health camp "Seagull" on the Black Sea coast in Karolino-Bugaz involving Spanish teachers and schoolchildren – our future university entrants.
International diploma of proficiency in Spanish
Our professors and certified examiners of the Spanish provide the targeted preparation and holding examinations at the level of proficiency from A1 to C2, confirmable of the international diploma DIE of the Fund of research and development of the Spanish language and culture under the patronage of the Ministry of Education of Spain.
Free education in Spain and Portugal
We provide to our best students from 3-th year an opportunity of free education in partner universities (from 5 to 10 months according to individual curriculas).
Scholarships of academic mobility programs of the European Union
We provide to our best students annually 10...15 scholarships (850 Euros per month) according to the academic mobility programs of the European Union.
Financial conditions of education at the University
The preparation of preparation of bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy is available both by the government order and by the contract. Students-employee, as well as the students entitled to the special benefits receive academic and social scholarships. Teaching of the professionally oriented Spanish and Portuguese languages, as well as the exam preparation of DIE, by the contract provided.
